This was one of the things I heard when I was going into the movie and after the previous one I was a bit worried.
#THE AMAZING SPIDER MAN 2 SONG HOW TO#
Maybe DeHaan could have taught Foxx how to shout "I AM THE APEX PREDATOR" I would have preferred a better approach to his character. The random slamming on the piano for "Incey Wincey Spider" didn't do anything other than make a load of noise which could have been better as just thunder or some static-like distortion instead of cramming in another spider joke.īizarre Max Dillion "character development" - The 'nobody' getting powers then becoming 'power mad' is too cliche. "Freddy's Coming For You" is an example of a good nusery rhyme atmosphere builder. Marvel changed the game with the MCU, SONY and FOX should be trying to change it again, not haphazardly trying to imitate Marvel's work.ĮDIT: Just to add to the actual music aspect. Shit, SONY and FOX have done good sequels to these franchises once already (Spider-Man 2 and X2). The Winter Soldier runs rings around TASM2 and is how a sequel should be done. Both SONY and FOX need to sort their shit out. SONY are going to ruin their rebooted Spider-Man franchise, and I'm not hopeful for X-Men Days Of Future Past either now (especially after that mediocre scene at the end of Spider-Man). So even though this post was about the music, as a whole I'm pissed with the movie. That's not a subtle hint, it's a basebat to the face. The Infinity Gauntlet in the background was a subtle hint of what is to come, SONY had the Secret Projects vault in the fucking trailers. Random doors opening just so they can show off the Vulture wings, Rhino suit and Octavius arms isn't the same as the walk through Odin's War Room. The movie is Iron Man 2 levels of wink-wink-nudge-nudge, but it somehow managed to do it less well. And finally the crammed in shit for the next film. One minute he is teleporting and turning invisible, the next he's getting hit by a car. And Electro's abilities and power seemed to fluctuate too much. A line of foes taking their turns to fight Spidey. The final fight gave me Spider-Man 3 vibes. If Peter shouts "YOU KILLED HER" at Harry in the next film I'm done with it. But from the first film Peter has already explored the revenge aspect when hunting for Ben's killer and turned away from it. The movie sets up the idea/vibe that Peter will go after Harry for revenge in the next film. The movie paints it as he tried his best but was just too late. The comic's neck snap puts the guilt all on Peter, he is the direct cause of her death. The change from Gwen's neck snapping caused by the tension in the web to her actually hitting the ground gives the impression it was Harry's fault she died.Sure it gives Peter some closure on why his parents left, but the amount of running time devoted to it seemed to be too much. The whole Richard Parker secret lab stuff just seemed like filler to pad the movie out.

Bizarre Max Dillion "character development" - The 'nobody' getting powers then becoming 'power mad' is too cliche. The comedy/jokes were on point again (except the Spider-Man ringtone, that got boring).Spidey's movement in action sequences was a great improvement over previous movies (moving more spider-like than a human who just happens to be able to climb). The relationship moments between Gwen and Peter actually worked.Don't get me wrong, there are some great parts to the movie.
